Covid-19 caused the cancellation of the 2020 Willow Creek Cowboy Gathering, traditionally held in June at the Stavely, AB arena. It’s a festival of music and spoken word that I have emceed for four years.

Our committee decided to put on a virtual gathering. We invited our 2020 performers to be on our 2021 show and create a promotional program by sending in one or two videos.

Most of our performers would not describe themselves as “tech savvy” but 16 of them created videos, which we had professionally edited. I hosted the virtual gathering by introducing each video.
